IS MODERN ART REALLY ART?

Dead animals, elephant dung, unmake beds and rice all seem c ar habitual objects but should we be calling them artistic substructure? When we were growing up we were taught that art was a beautiful movie - like forefront Goghs Sunflowers, or a perfect carving of a piece - like Michelangelos David, but we were never genuinely taught that conceptual and contemporaneous art were halal forms of art, stock-still though it was complete in the sixties. It made us destine and challenge our cause assumptions of what art should really look like. People didnt understand the mind of cows cut in half (Damien Hirst), wire employ lockers (Mona Hatoum), rubble (Richard Long) or wish-wash (Tomoko Takahashi) being called art unless you could prepare it nicely on your living room wall.
